Easy Pork Stir Fry – Stir Frying Cooking Technique for Quick, Flavorful Meals

Stir frying – cooking technique is a fast and flavorful way to prepare meals, especially when you're working with lean, tender pork cuts. With high heat and constant movement, this method locks in moisture while giving your vegetables a crisp finish.

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon vegetable or sesame oil

1/2 pound pork loin or tenderloin, thinly sliced

1 cup snap peas or broccoli florets

1 bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 carrot, julienned

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin or oyster sauce

1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooked rice or noodles for serving

 

Instructions:

1. Slice your pork and vegetables before heating the pan. The key to mastering the stir frying – cooking technique is preparation and speed.

2. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat until shimmering. Add the pork and stir fry for 3–4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.

3. Add garlic and vegetables to the pan. Stir fry for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.

4. Return pork to the pan. Stir in soy sauce, hoisin or oyster sauce, and the cornstarch mixture. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients.

5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
