Cooking Recommendations for Smoked Whole Jowls

To bring out the deep, smoky flavor of our Whole Jowls, slice them thinly and pan-fry over medium heat until crisp and golden. Their rich fat renders beautifully, making them an indulgent addition to pastas, soups, or even atop a salad for a smoky twist.

For a traditional preparation, dice the jowls and use them as a base for slow-cooked beans or greens. Their intense flavor will infuse the dish, creating a hearty, comforting meal that pays homage to heritage cooking.
